Bearden Arts
Prior to the development surge on H Street, NE, Taurus saw the potential in this well-grounded neighborhood. Named after the famous African American artist Romare Bearden, the Bearden Arts Building became a mainstay of the neighborhood. The Taurus team established its headquarters in this original three story vacant building. With local eateries, Star and Shamrock and Bullfrog Bagels and the H Street Greenhouse (the second incubator space to open in DC), Taurus mapped a plan to build-out Bearden Arts, grow the Greenhouse and add residential space.
